Medical Assistants are an essential component to physicians, physician’s assistants, and nurse-practitioners in the day to day clinical and administrative duties that occur in the medical office including taking vital signs, rooming patients, drawing blood, performing laboratory procedures, EKGs, administration of medications and immunizations and providing patient education. Job opportunities are urgently needed for certified medical assistants including traveling. My class will be a fast-paced course over 4 days. All students would need some medical knowledge and work experience to be successful in this course.
